"Deep purple colour, lighter on the rim. The nose is fragrant underlying power, packed with boysenberry, ripe plum, kirsch, violet and a smoky spice undertone. Medium-bodied, aromas of boysenberry, and plum enlivened by violet and black pepper, a hint of smoked meat linger at the finish. The wine is beautifully perfumed, complementing the ripe
fruit. Excellent acidity provides a backbone, and supple tannin boosts a soft texture. This elegant, youthful, fresh Syrah possesses ripe fruit and beautiful perfume with a supple mouthfeel. Match with summer barbeque or Thai beef salad over the next 3 years. Fruit from 40 years old vines in Manutuke, fermented to 12.5% alc, aged in French oak for 6 months. Organic certified."
